your manufacturing activities.
You are required to institute a quality policy
and conduct management reviews and internal audits to verify that
the systems in place are working correctly.

Tailored to your laboratory’s
working needs
DAMAS adapts and simplifies ISO 9001’s
proven quality management principles to meet industry regulations,
whilst reflecting the practical nature of manufacturing dental appliances.
The emphasis is on dental technicians’
manufacturing skills, rather than extensive documented procedures
or work instructions, making the scheme ideal for staff at all sizes
of laboratories, from on and two-person operations to medium and
large organisations.
DAMAS also provides a framework to achieve
ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Medical Devices certification at a later
date.
The Certification Process
Once we have implemented your DAMAS Management
system and you are ready for assessment we can liase with the
DLA on your behalf and help arrange your certification by the external
certification organisation. DLCS will assist with the assessment
process, ensuring the route to certification is smooth.
